If you are an older adult over the age of 55, you are invited to attend a one-day interactive symposium, hosted by the Ontario Society of Senior Citizens Organizations.

Overcoming Loneliness and Social Isolation: Celebrating Best Community Practices Symposium will be held on October 20th, 2016 at North York Memorial Community Hall (5110 Yonge Street). Attendees will learn more about the following topics:

  • What social isolation is
  • How it affects seniors
  • What communities have done to reduce that risk
