Lumacare is committed to providing quality and ongoing improvement to the programs and services we offer in the community. Lumacare received a full, three-year certification in June 2012 from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

In June 2015, Lumacare entered into a new Accreditation certification process led by Accreditation Canada and has been issued an Accreditation Primer Award, receiving 95% on all Primer standards.

Accreditation Canada is an independent, not-for profit organization that has been improving health quality through accreditation since 1958. They have accredited more than 1200 organizations across Canada sharing their vision: Excellence in quality health services for all.

• Commitment to innovation and forward thinking.

• Strong leadership personnel, including the Leadership Team, Senior Management, and the Board of Directors.

• Commended for having a multicultural workforce in a culturally diverse community, with a focus on
