On Wednesday, March 16, 2016 between 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. 31 Division is hosting a Town Hall Meeting at St. Jane Frances Parish at 2747 Jane Street in Toronto. This meeting will provide all members of the 31 Division community with the opportunity to hear from the Toronto Police in regards to the most up to date issues being faced by the division. It is also a welcomed opportunity for us, as a Service, to hear from our community and better understand the concerns that they may have.

This will occur in the form of a structured public address from:

Chief Mark Saunders

Superintendent Tony Riviere – 31 Division Unit Commander

Detective Sergeant Proctor – 31 Division Criminal Investigations

Staff Sergeant Blanchard – 31 Division Community Response Unit

Inspector Riyaz Hussein and Mr. Mark Tenaglia – Co-Chairs of 31 Division Community Police Liaison Committee

This will be followed by a question and answer period open to community members, providing an opportunity to further cement the partnership between the community and 31 Division. While the question period will be focused on 31 Division policing issues, there will be other community agencies in attendance including Toronto Parking Enforcement, Toronto Bylaw Enforcement, Toronto Community Housing Corporation, and local City Councillors.
