After years of searching for the perfect space, Lumcare has turned on the lights and officially opened our doors at our brand new Campus of Care.
Lumacare’s Campus of Care is operating out of 155 Deerhide Crescent in North York as the perfect integration of care under one roof. As the first of its kind, and built off of innovative best practice models of care, the Campus is home to our integrated specialized adult day programs. The campus offers rehab support with a physiotherapy clinic, spa with foot care, showering, toileting and feeding assistance, relaxation and sensory stimulation. The Campus is running wellbeing programs such as healthy eating clinics, exercise for various degrees of abilities and different forms of best practice therapeutic interventions, including virtual reality and robotic devices that simulate babies and pets for memory stimulation. The Campus support independence and reintegration back into the community with a tuck shop on site for essentials and access to prepared food.
All of our Assisted Living Services continue to operate in the community and home of the clients we serve, alongside our overnight respite program and Valleyview Day Program running out of Valleyview Residence. Healthier Living Centre clients will continue to access our congregate dining services, exercise classes, and social outings and group meetups at their usual locations.
Lumacare’s Campus of Care is a one-stop-shop for our aging population and their families, and we look forward to welcoming you into our new home.
