We were thrilled to host our Annual General Meeting on June 24, 2025 – an evening filled with reflection, celebration and inspiration.
One of the highlights of the evening was the Ontario Trillium Fund Grant recognition by our local MPP Tom Rakocevic. Another highlight was our inspiring keynote speaker, Victoria Muir-Burcea, who introduced us to practical mindfulness techniques, exercises designed to enhance brain health, and the science behind micro-habits. These simple yet powerful practices can rewire your brain for resilience and well-being, help reduce brain fog, improve clarity, and boost focus. They can be easily integrated into your daily routine to help manage stress and support overall well-being—even just 30 seconds a day can make a difference! The speaker also touched on how adult colouring/doodling can be surprisingly beneficial for mental relaxation.
